Submit your (single) flash fiction or nonfiction work of less than 1000 words here. Maximum of three entries per author. Simultaneous submissions are welcome, but please immediately withdraw any work that is accepted elsewhere. Our judges will read blindly, so please remove all identifying info from your manuscript before submitting (but if you forget, we'll edit it out before they get it). No reprints please.

*All winners receive publication in the 2020 issue of Opossum (released October 2020) and ten copies of the issue/7" record.

Judged by Tatiana Ryckman: Tatiana Ryckman was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She is the author of the novel, The Ancestry of Objects (forthcoming from Deep Vellum Books), as well as a novella, I Don't Think of You (Until I Do), and two chapbooks of prose, Twenty-Something and VHS and Why it's Hard to Live. Tatiana is the Editor of Awst Press and has attended residencies at Yaddo, Arthub, and 100W Corsicana. She teaches Creative Writing workshops through the University of Texas at Austin's Informal Classes.
